According to Karen, the man in the back row with the hat
and long beard is Michael Walters, and standing next to him is his
wife Matilda Adams. This family actually lived in nearby Lawrence
County...but the lady third from the right in the second row is none other
than Miss Edna Scott who grew up in Galena, and who passed down the scrap
book which is displayed on our Stone County pages. Karen believes
this photo was taken before Edna's marriage to Charles Louis Walters who
is the man seated on the far left of the front row. Edna and
Charles' daughter married Delmer Standridge from Galena and then moved
to Galena where they raised their family.
