Several of the people in the photograph above have been identified by Dan Bowling who received the information from his cousin, Shirley Humble.  According to Dan the lady in the front row on the left is Harriet McConnell Fateley, born 1843, died 1920.  Her daughter Nettie Fateley was Shirley Humble's grandmother.  Nettie married William Gentry of Stone County, Missouri and they migrated to Idaho in 1910.

The gentleman with the long white beard to the right of Harriett is her brother, David McConnell, born 1837, died 1920.  The gray haired lady in the middle is Eliza McConnell, born 1846, and the last two men in the back row on the right are Alexander MCConnell, born 1849 and John McConnell, born 1834, died 1914. Four brothers, James, Luther, Jeptha and Frank McConnell all died in the Civil War.  They were all born in Indiana and later came to Missouri.

Dan submitted the photo to us after finding it among his mother's things.  His parents, Paul and Freida (Garoutte) Bowling were both from Stone County, Missouri. If you recognize any of the other people in the photo please email Dan Bowling.
